On Sunday 8th June Pebbles Unisex Hair & Beauty on Faraday Road launched a charity pamper open day to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The staff performed mini treatments every 15 minutes and other fund raising activities including a raffle with prizes from local businesses and a barbeque on the forecourt of the salon.

       Steve & Theresa Fish, owners of Pebbles and their adjoining company One Stop garage said, “The day was an excellent idea for people to come and see our new relaxing Hair & Beauty Salon and large treatment rooms whilst having a fun filled day to raise money for charity”.

       Manageress Julie Morris said, “We have never experienced an event like this, all the visitors stayed on and made a day of it, and all the staff and supporters worked extremely  hard to make the day successful and memorable". The total amount raised was £777.00.
